The Final Scene
Bush: “I was the last person who was filmed on the show, so the final scene for me was the final scene for One Tree Hill.”
Theme of the Final Season
Bush, of Schwahn’s hint that not everyone will be seen by season’s end: “I can’t say anything about it otherwise they’re going to kill me!”
What’s in Store for Tree Hill
Bush: “The pendulum in her life has swung. For a while, it was career above all else. As the career fell apart, she put her family first and became a wife and a mother. Now she’s going to find herself with a balance and find herself in the middle: how to have a career that makes her happy, how to have a marriage that makes her happy, how to run a business with her best friend.”
Stepping Behind the Camera
Bush: “I was fortunate they gave me the second to last episode ever to direct. It’s my favorite episode I’ve ever made. I’m looking forward to getting to that point in the season because 12 and 13 really are a love letter to our little family, from the writers to the actors and the crew. It felt really good.”

“One Tree Hill” star Sophia Bush has long been involved in political issues, including touring college campuses to encourage young people to vote to making appearances in Texas in support of the 2008 Obama campaign.
Apparently Bush even contemplated a career in politics herself, until coming to the conclusion she couldn’t make much of a difference.
“I certainly have thought about it (moving into politics) but the more that I know of politics, the more it makes me realize that being a politician is largely useless,” Bush told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column at InStyle’s Forevermark Diamond Preview at the Beverly Hills Hotel. “I would much prefer to at some point, to advise a fund and make change, rather than have to sit in a room listening to bureaucratic bull***t and try to cut through red tape and really not get anything done. I’m not interested in living the life that I think our president has been living… I’m really disillusioned by the whole political sphere at this point, and I’d really rather focus on the non-profits base and do work there.”

Anyone who knows the slightest bit about “One Tree Hill” star Sophia Bush is aware that she’s an avid supporter of a variety of charities. In fact, she recently beat out Rogen in a Firefox-hosted CrowdRise contest to see who could raise the most money for their charity of choice. Bush won an additional $25,000 towards her selection, F Cancer, while another $5,000 went to the rest of the competitors. To Bush, everyone involved in the contest was a winner.
“I think it’s really wonderful to have had the opportunity and we owe Firefox a big thank you, but also it’s a really nice thing when you can get a bunch of people together to do something really good for the world,” she said. “I think Hollywood could use more of it.”
